What's the difference between Free and Standard?

Free covers the shop floor: the job board, parts library, calendar and comments for up to 3 people. Standard adds the office side (quotes, purchase orders, suppliers, customers, COCs and material certs, job costing) and removes the limit on users.

Where does my data live?

On your hardware, at your shop. Pylvos runs as a local Windows service — your jobs, parts, and employee data never leave your building. The only thing that touches our servers is a license verification ping.

Do I need the internet to use Pylvos?

Pylvos runs on your local network, so the shop keeps working when the internet is down. It checks in with our license server once a day. On Standard, if it can't reach us for 7 days, it shows a 7-day warning; after that it runs on the Free plan until it reconnects. Nothing is deleted.

What does the setup involve?

Get a key (free above, or with a Standard trial), download the installer, run it on any Windows PC on your shop network, and enter your key. The whole process takes about 15 minutes. Any device on your WiFi — phones, tablets, other computers — can access Pylvos through a browser with no app installs.

How does billing work?

Standard starts with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, your card is charged automatically — $40/month on monthly billing, or $400/year on annual billing (2 months free). You can cancel anytime — no contracts, no commitments. Free never asks for a card.

How do I upgrade from Free?

Start a Standard trial above with the same email address you used for your free key. Your existing key is upgraded, so there's nothing to reinstall; Pylvos unlocks Standard within a day, or right away from Settings → Updates → Check Now.

What happens if I cancel Standard?

You keep Standard until the end of the period you paid for, plus 7 days. Then Pylvos switches to the Free plan: everything you entered stays, quotes, purchase orders and certs can still be viewed but not changed, and up to 3 people can sign in. Subscribe again any time to get everything back.

What's your refund policy?

All payments are final and non-refundable. That's why there's a Free plan and a 14-day free trial of Standard — so you can make sure Pylvos is the right fit before you're charged a cent. See our Terms of Service for full details.

How do I cancel or update my payment method?

Both are handled through our self-serve billing portal — no need to email us. Just enter the email address you signed up with to update your payment method, view past invoices, or cancel your subscription instantly.
